This is one of our most common questions, as the two trainings are often confused. Facilitator Training develops the skills to guide dancers through somatic exploration using verbal prompts and physical modelling of movement. The Leadership Program focuses on organising events and building a dance community, including venue hire, finding dancers and team members, choosing a suitable format, marketing and promotion, ethics, and financial management. In short, Facilitator Training is about guiding the dance experience, while the Leadership Program is about building and sustaining a dance community.
