Q: Does the Leadership Training include facilitation and/or DJ education?
Yes, our Leadership Training includes both DJ and facilitation education, making it our most comprehensive and well-rounded program. However, we only cover basic DJ and facilitation skills. Specifically, we do not teach DJ software in the Leadership Training.
Q: What is the difference between the Facilitator Training and the Leadership Training?
A: This is one of the most common questions we receive, as the two trainings are often confused—but they serve very different purposes. The Facilitator Training focuses on developing the skills needed to guide dancers into somatic exploration through verbal prompts, guidance, and inspiration. The Leadership Training, on the other hand, teaches event production and community-building skills, including the logistics of running a dance such as hiring venues and team members, and managing finances. In short, Facilitator Training is about guiding the dance experience itself, while Leadership Training is about taking care of the business of running a dance.
