Bernice's Story
Bernice's career in conscious dance began in 2011 when she founded Dance Church, a weekly gathering in Nelson, BC, Canada. What started as a small community quickly grew into a powerful entity, becoming a cherished home for many—a community the likes of which many said they had been missing until Dance Church showed up in their lives. And this was just the beginning.
In 2019, Bernice expanded her reach with the creation of the first-ever Ecstatic DJ Training, attracting 50 participants from over 17 countries. This experience ignited a new chapter in her mission, leading to the founding of The Dance The Medicine Team. The organization brings together successful conscious dance professionals from various backgrounds and traditions to teach leadership, dance facilitation, and DJ skills to the next generation of conscious dance leaders.
With years of experience and a unique blend of expertise, Bernice now travels the world, teaching, mentoring, and playing epic tracks for dancers at conscious dance events globally.
