Conscious Dance Facilitator
Learn to hold space for conscious dance practices with skill, presence, and care—creating dance experiences that foster belonging, somatic integration, and collective coherence. Bring the magic.
Have you ever attended a conscious dance event and wondered how such a powerful and cohesive sense of community is created? That level of group coherence doesn’t happen by chance. It’s created through the steady attention and committed presence of an embodied facilitator—someone who weaves practical skills with intuitive guidance to lead dancers into the journey, stay present with them throughout, and gently guide them back out again in a way that supports grounding and integration. While this role can appear effortless, the containment and integration of conscious dance begins long before dancers arrive and continues long after they leave, requiring a high level of skill, care, and attunement.
What It Means to Be a Conscious Dance Facilitator
A facilitator holds a dance container with awareness, reverence, and intention. Facilitators support dancers to:
Move into deeper connection with themselves and others
Settle into the present moment and be guided through their somatic experience
Explore their edges with care and embodiment
Build inclusive, engaged dance communities
Why This Training Is Different
The Dance The Medicine Facilitator pathway blends practical skills with somatic depth and community connection. You’ll learn how to:
Create a contained environment with clear guidance that supports somatic integration of emotional, intellectual, and spiritual layers of experience
Use music intentionally to support movement, theme, and flow
Facilitate with presence and attunement to group dynamics and shared field
Integrate embodiment practices across diverse settings, methods, modalities, and belief systems
Being a facilitator is not about being a performer, but about being in service—using dance to support wholeness, belonging, and human connection.
